HOT BEACHES, COOL JAMS! COUNTRY ON THE SOUND COMES TO NAVARRE, FL and PARTNERS WITH THE GULF COAST DISCOVERY CENTER AND THE NAVARRE BLACKHAWK MEMORIAL SEPT 25th & 26th 2015

NAVARRE, FL – August 17, 2015 – Hot Beaches, Cool Jams – Country On The Sound brings a two day country music festival to Navarre, FL this Sept 25th & 26th 2015 at Navarre Beach Marine Park.  Festival attendees will enjoy the beautiful white sand beaches that Navarre, FL has to offer.  This unique festival will mix live country music on two stages and bring fun to all ages both in and out of town.

Country On The Sound will start on Friday afternoon and conclude in the moonlight over the beach on Sunday morning.   This festival will bring in big name national talent and commingle local flavor right on Navarre Beach Marine Park.  After the headliners complete their performances for the evening, there will be a Late Night Beach Jam until 1:30am each night.

The organizers of Country On The Sound set out to bring an event to Santa Rosa County that would help with economic impact to our friends and neighbors in the community. We truly appreciate the hard work, commitment and dedication of our community leaders, county officials, life safety, and all other organizations that came together to make this event possible.

Country On The Sound is going to be awesome and will be a major event in Santa Rosa County for years to come. The promoters feel strongly that giving back to the community is our duty. The men and women in uniform that support our great nation and our community are key to our hearts. Event organizers wanted Trace Adkins in the lineup because of his strong military connection. Our commitment to the community will never waiver and we are proud to announce that we are partnering with two great causes.

The Navarre Blackhawk Memorial is one of the organizations that we will be donating back to and partnering with. We all remember that evening when 11 brave soldiers lost their lives when their helicopter crashed into the Sound. This tragedy left a memory like no other on our lives. It affected the community and hit home at Navarre Family Watersports when Items washed up on the shore that brought tears to our eyes.

The other organization is the Gulf Coast Discovery Center. It is our strong commitment to hold a nature friendly event. We have reached out to specialists in the field to ensure that we are doing the right things in preserving the nesting sea turtles, the shore birds, and the dunes not only for our event but for years to come.

We are truly proud to give back to the community and look forward to helping in anyway we can in making these two great causes become a reality sooner than later. We also encourage others in the community to donate to these great organizations.
