Folkestone’s very own basketball team has a new kit sponsor for this season
Local web agency, Whitefish Marketing are the proud new sponsors for Folkestone Saint’s men’s national team. The director of Whitefish Marketing – Chris Surridge – used to train with the Saints in his youth, so it’s only fitting that his company has become the main sponsor 20 years later.
The team at Whitefish Marketing helped design the new kit for this season, in connection with head coach Mark Hinton. The most prominent impact being the change of kit colour from the long-standing purple and yellow to its new red and white design – showing off the Whitefish Marketing brand in the middle. When questioned about the kit change, the fans and players were pleased and said it was a good new look.
Folkestone Saints had their first game this past Saturday (1st October 2016). They dominated the game for the first three quarters, but eventually lost overall in the final quarter. Despite this setback, it was still a good start to the season for the new players on the squad.
