BUILD/ RELEASE ENGINEER – CONTRACT – ALPHARETTA, GA
Build / Release Engineer Skills & Requirements:
Strong Scripting – Perl, or Python, or PHP
Korn, Shell, Bash, Unix shells etc.
Subversion
Plus:
Jenkins
Perform and Monitor Release builds
Migrates build artifacts to appropriate deployment, test, and production environments across multiple platforms.
Provide continuous support on builds and make the build and releases as fully automated as possible.
Develop and maintain on-demand and nightly builds with the Build and Infrastructure team.
Review build results, debug and optimize complex builds, and discuss technical issues with developers, architects, and managers.
Develop and maintain documentation of the build/release process
Minimum of 3+ years relevant experience in the software industry field including prior hands-on with systems and build management.
Scripting: Deep experience with a general scripting language (Perl, Python, PHP etc.), familiar with PowerShell and Unix Shells, and comfortable using new scripting languages as needed.
Minimum of 3+ years of Subversion experience
Databases: SQL, RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
