Business Analyst (Banking / Payments) – CONTRACT TO PERM – ATLANTA, GA
Business Analyst Skills & Requirements:
Strong understanding of the payment industry.
8+ years of experience working in the financial services industry, specifically with the banking and/or payments products.
Working knowledge NACHA ACH, Bill Pay, Credit/debit card processing, SWIFT, Fedwire, SEPA, and electronic payments.
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, including 8 years of progressive Business Analysis work experience.
Demonstrated leadership skills, recognized as a leader in business processes and a major leadership influence on client decisions towards project approach, project requirements, testing and implementation
Experience documenting requirements using Structured Analysis Techniques such as Use Cases, Entity Relationship Diagrams, Process Decomposition Diagrams and Workflows.
Experience managing the requirements scope, identifying scope change and identifying system impacts, including external systems.
Experience preparing test plans, test cases and test scripts and experience in leading Client Acceptance Testing for highly complex projects.
Demonstrated advanced effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of explaining technical information to and leading discussions with clients, vendors, senior management and staff.
Business Analyst Job Summary:
Engage in market analyses to understand current and future trends, market segmentation and stakeholder needs.
Maintain continued awareness of industry changes in the payment services industry.
Ensure internal and external business needs are identified, prioritized and communicated as part of release planning.
Evaluate all enhancement requests and determine what to accept and set priorities based on overall value to the business and stakeholders.
Participate in release planning and coordination of testing as the subject matter expert.
Have a clear understanding and view of the competitive landscape. Create and model business proposals to present to management supporting business needs and profitability impact for new offerings as sun-setting offerings.
