Equifax is searching for a Director of Operational Planning and Analysis. This is not a Mid-Level position with compensation in the range of $60-75K.
Operational Planning and Analysis represents a small team of professionals that are tasked with overall support for the Global Operations Center of Excellence. Global Operations at Equifax represents over 3,000 employees performing duties in 16 countries with an annual spend of over $300 million.
As a Director in Operational Planning and Analysis, this individual is to work closely with the operational leadership team providing the infrastructure to ensure delivery of business results. This position provides support across Global Operations for metrics, operational reporting, change initiatives and activities that enhance overall operational capabilities while also reducing risk.
Specific on-going duties assigned to this individual include, but are not limited to:
Overall responsibility for all initiative reporting across Global Operations ensuring delivery of business financial commitments. This includes reporting on existing initiatives, support of new initiatives and continual improvements to the process.
Ongoing support of monthly operational reporting supporting the Chief Global Operations officer and his team. This includes maintaining all operational metrics, reporting and ongoing enhancements to the process.
Leadership for quarterly review with the Equifax Senior Leadership Team.
Ownership for development and maintenance of Workforce Productivity Models (WFP) across the Global Operations team in order to ensure proper staffing levels and productivity across the various customer / client support teams.
Support in the preparation of annual operating plans and budgets.
Development, and support, of a process repository / Business Process Management (BPM) tool to support companywide process improvement efforts.
Program and project management responsibilities for Global Operations efforts as may be required.
Support of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) efforts across all operational sites.
Key skills required for this position include:
Excellent analytical / problem solving skills and financial acumen.
Technical literacy and competencies across numerous software platforms (MS Office, Business Objects, SharePoint and others).
Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence. Ability to interact and build working relationships across the organization.
Ability to influence people.
Effective tactical and executive level communication skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
Ability to dissect large operational activities and identify key success factors… operational awareness.
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and Lean / Six Sigma a plus.
Self-starter, proactive in attacking problems and constantly looking for opportunities to improve business processes.
The ideal candidate for this position would have:
3-5 years of practical business experience.
A proven history of driving results.
Spanish language capabilities a plus.
An eagerness to learn and leverage the knowledge / experience gained in this position for growth into other positions across the Equifax organization.
