We are jewellery obsessed… Not your usual bling and diamonds, we love laid-back luxe. Gone are the days we can get away with cheap jewellery that turn our ears/neck/fingers green. We now look for affordable, quality pieces that are still fun and quirky. Whether statement or minimalist pieces, we’re always on the hunt for cool accessories to give our looks an edge. Being in Mallorca for the summer, we packed some brands that will take us from the beach to the bar and also work with our wardrobes now we’ve returned (reluctantly) to England.

We first spotted Pomme Pomme’s lovingly handmade pom pom earrings on an über-cool girl in London, so believe us when we say they aren’t just for the beach. We’ll be teaming these colourful balls of fun with denim and plain tees to keep hold of our summer memories once we’re back to the grind. We defy you to not have a smile on your face when you wear a pair!

We’re longtime fans of Mia Lia’s keepsake bracelets, and they’re pretty much a permanent fixture on our wrists all year. They’re a great summer accessory but also add a bit of colour to our outfits once we revert back to black, black and more black. They are the grown-up friendship bracelet—a trend we have yet to grow out of!

Mid-life crisis piercings are a thing (if you don’t believe us pop by the new Maria Tash piercing studio, newly opened in Liberty). And we’re glad we took the plunge and opted for multiple ear piercings, otherwise we wouldn’t be able to spell our names in our lobes à la Kylie Jenner. She’s not one we’d normally look to for fashion advice (seeing as we’re twice her age) but she did rock the Aurum + Grey letter studs.
