BetAnySports Weekend Betting Preview- Jan. 13-15

While most sports bettors are probably dialed into the four NFL playoffs games in this weekend’s Divisional Round when it comes to betting on the games at BetAnySports, there is quite a bit of action on the board in a number of other sports to help fill in the gaps over the next three days.

If basketball is your top betting sport, then both college hoops and the NBA have you covered with a number of great matchups starting with an ESPN Friday night double header of action in the NBA. The NHL, European soccer, PGA golf, UFC fighting and both ATP and WTP tennis will all have posted betting odds on the board at BetAnySports for action over the next three days.

Saturday’s NFL Divisional Round action gets underway in a 4:35 p.m. (ET) kickoff at the Georgia Dome between the 11-5-1 Seattle Seahawks and the 11-5 Atlanta Falcons in the first of two NFC showdowns this weekend. Seattle comes in as a five-point road underdog and it is 3-5 against the spread on the road this season. BetAnySports has set the total for this game at 51.5 and it has gone OVER in 14 of the Falcon’s 16 regular season games.

The first Divisional Round matchup in the AFC, in an 8:15 p.m. kickoff at Gillette Stadium, has the 14-2 New England Patriots playing host to the 10-7 Houston Texans as prohibitive 15-point favorites with the total set at 44.5. New England went 13-3 ATS this season including a perfect 4-0 mark both SU and ATS when closing as a double-digit favorite. Houston is just 2-6 ATS on the road this year.

The 12-5 Pittsburgh Steelers are riding a SU eight-game winning streak (6-1-1 ATS) into Sunday’s second AFC matchup as 1.5-point road underdogs against the 12-4 Kansas City Chiefs. BetAnySports has set the total line for this game at 44 with kickoff set for 1:05 p.m. from Arrowhead Stadium. The total has stayed UNDER in nine of the Steelers last 13 games and it has gone OVER in four of the Chiefs last six games. Kansas City is 3-5 ATS at home this season against a 5-3 road record ATS for Pittsburgh.

The highlight of the weekend should be the 11-6 Green Bay Packers tangling with the 13-3 Dallas Cowboys in a 4:40 p.m. start at AT&T Stadium this Sunday afternoon. The Cowboys are currently listed as 4.5-point favorites at home and the betting line for the total stands at 52.5. Green Bay has won its last seven games SU while covering in six of those contests. The total has gone OVER in its last five games. Dallas went 10-5-1 ATS, but it failed to cover in four of its last five outings. The total has stayed UNDER in six of its last nine games.
