Compared to the old model, the Honda CB Shine SP looks a lot sportier and more upmarket with several design changes and new features.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) today launched the new Honda CB Shine SP at a starting price of Rs 59,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Honda CB Shine is the same ‘mystery’ bike that the company had teased at the Honda ReVFest earlier this year. The SP here stands for ‘Smart Power’ technology offered with the bike, which stops the engine in idle and starts as soon as the clutch is released. The technology will also help the bike achieve a higher fuel-efficiency than before.

Compared to the old model, the Honda CB Shine SP looks a lot sportier and more upmarket with several design changes and new features. Having said that, the new CB Shine SP continues to feature the same 125cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with Honda Eco Technology (HET) that does duty to the current model as well. This engine churns out 10.57bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.3Nm at 5,500rpm.
