PDRC Thailand page have summarized part of Suthep’s speech last night:

Suthep Thaugsuban (20.29): The fake government continues to falsify information and slander the peaceful protesters to mislead the diplomatic corps and foreign press. Unlike Tony Cartalucci, who maintains his professional integrity and has a profound understanding of Thailand, many foreign media outlets have either fallen prey to the sham government’s lies, or have been successfully lobbied by Thaksin’s money. Lobbyists include: Edelman PR and particularly Robert Amsterdam, Thakin’s servant/lobbyist.

Tony Cartalucci writes that the Emergency Decree is the last desperate attempt by the Thaksin regime to stay in power. Yingluck and her cronies are being slowly choked to death by our marches. [For Cartalucci's latest piece on Thailand, see: http://landdestroyer.blogspot.com/2014/01/thailand-regime-cites-own-terror.html

So take heart, my friends. We will prevail. And we are almost there.

Sunai of HRW:

Suthep on stage praising Tony Cartalucci as best Thailand expert. Accusing foreign media as biased & influenced by Thaksin's lobbyists.

BP: PDRC supporters, the PDRC Web site, Abhisit's close aide, and others have been linking to Tony Cartalucci for a while, but after Suthep accused the foreign media of being on the payroll or suckered into believing what he calls government lies last night, he goes on to praise Tony as someone who understands Asia and Thailand well. Suthep quotes Tony as stating that the foreign media are paid by Thaksin and clearly publish news against the PDRC. So what has Suthep seen about Tony's writing that he views makes Tony an expert about Asia and Thailand? It is hard summarize hundreds of posts by Tony into a single post, but there are a number of themes that come across:

March 2013:

Aung San Suu Kyi is a Western Proxy

In "Myanmar (Burma) "Pro-Democracy" Movement a Creation of Wall Street & London," it was documented that Suu Kyi and organizations supporting her, including local propaganda fronts like the New Era Journal, the Irrawaddy, and the Democratic Voice of Burma (DVB) radio, have received millions of dollars a year from the Neo-Conservative chaired National Endowment for Democracy, convicted criminal and Wall Street speculator George Soros' Open Society Institute, and the US State Department itself, citing Britain's own "Burma Campaign UK (.pdf)."

....

The US backing of puppet-regimes like that of Thailand's Thaksin Shinawatra, his sister Yingluck, or Myanmar's Aung San Suu Kyi, installing them into power, and keeping them there is central to projecting power throughout Asia and keeping China subordinate, or as Kagan put it in his 1997 report, these proxy regimes will have China "play Gulliver to Southeast Asia's Lilliputians, with the United States supplying the rope and stakes." Two of these "Lilliputians" are Yingluck Shinawatra and Aung San Suu Kyi, the rope and stakes are the street mobs and disingenuous NGOs funded by the US State Department to support their consolidation of power.

It is essential to look past the empty rhetoric of "democracy," "human rights," and "progress" used to justify foreign-funding and meddling to install servile autocrats like Thailand's Thaksin, Myanmar's Aung San Suu Kyi, or even Malaysia's proxy dictator-in-waiting Anwar Ibrahim, and see the greater geopolitical game at play. It is also essential to expose the disingenuous organizations, institutions, and media personalities helping promote this global corporate-fascist agenda.

With Suu Kyi's movement now being exposed as violent, sectarian-driven mobs rather than the "pro-democracy" front it was claimed to be by its sponsors in the West, it remains to be seen whether well-meaning people worldwide turn their backs on this carefully crafted hoax and the corporate-financier interests that created it - and instead seek genuine causes that abandon political struggle for pragmatic solutions.

BP: Thaksin, 2006 coup, and US support? That didn't happen. Interesting that the key political actors in Malaysia and Myanmar that are causing problems are Anwar Ibrahim and ASSK. Let's just ignore UMMO and the Burmese military.Any political party which is nationalist is supported, but anyone with foreign "links" is part of some Wall Street and global elite plot (not sure the Democrats would wait them painted in the same light as the Burmese military junta).  In case you think that was just a one-off comment. On Malaysia, see below:

Globalist Sedition takes to Malaysian Streets

The New York Times also dutifully cites Ford Foundation/Soros' Open Society-funded Human Rights Watch and Soros-funded (page 10) Amnesty International who have predictably "condemned the recent arrests, and called on the government to stop harassing those associated with [Soros-funded] Bersih.”

A pattern of foreign-funded organizations carrying out foreign-backed sedition within a target country, in turn backed by the corporate-owned media and “independent,” “international” organizations funded by the exact same money can be seen clearly in practice on Kuala Lumpur’s streets. What is also interesting is that NED-funded operations outside of Malaysia have also been directed to support Bersih.

Washington and London funded organizations like NED, IRI, NDI, Freedom House, and others are creating a global homogeneous NGO, “civil society” underlay that is centrally funded and centrally controlled. They operate in nearly every nation on Earth and they work in tandem with their regional doppelgangers toward a singular goal.

It is not that the “free and fair” elections many Bersih members are fighting for aren’t a legitimate cause. It is the fact that the leadership of Bersih are disingenuously harnessing the good intentions, energy, and resources of their naive followers to carry out foreign-funded sedition and regime change that will result in a dismal future for all Malaysians. Surely the ancestors of today’s Bersih protesters didn’t struggle and fight for Malaysian independence just so a foreign-backed stooge like Anwar Ibrahim could worm his way back into power, and with him bring back the same slouching degenerate bankers, merchants, and monied elite who had despoiled Malaysia and her riches for centuries.

BP: Indeed HRW and Amnesty International are in league with Wall Street. It is a plot by the global elite…

On Thailand, where does one start? Below are some headlines on articles with the links from the last month or so which you can read to get a feel of Tony’s thoughts about Thailand:

Thailand: Wall Street to the Rescue,

US’ Creeping Front Against Thailand,

Thailand: More Throw-Away Propaganda From NYT,

Thailand’s Upcoming Sham “Elections” (where he compares the situation in Thailand with Sadaam’s Iraq),

Thailand: US-backed Regime Using Terrorism Against Occupy Bangkok Protesters,

Thailand: Fighting the “Superpower”

URGENT: Thai Police Threaten to “Shoot-to-Kill” Anyone Using Vehicles to Remove Barriers (of course, no source for such claims)

Thailand: As Promised, Regime Deploys Black-Clad Militants an excerpt is below:

December 1, 2013 (Tony Cartalucci) – As promised by the Thai regime of Thaksin Shinawatra and his nepotist appointed proxy, sister Yingluck Shinawatra, it has released its black-clad militants against unarmed students in Bangkok, leading to several deaths, many more injuries and ongoing clashes. Regime thugs have surrounded hundreds of students attending Ramkamhaeng University, directly next to  Bangkok’s Rajamangala Stadium were a pro-regime rally has been ongoing for the last week. Students began demonstrating against the rally today specifically because of the noise and vitriol emanating from the stadium non-stop, day and night, disrupting the densely populated district.

BP: Unsurprisingly, he doesn’t mention that 3 out of the 5 people killed on November 30-December 1 were pro-government reds with only anti-government 1 RU student killed (another death is 1 unaffiliated student). Every bad thing is done by the Thai regime of Thaksin and the US is behind Thaksin. The posts become a bit repetitive after a while. We get references to plots by those who are members of the Trilateral Commission, the North American Union, CFR, Carlyle Group, Bilderberg etc*. Everything is part of a plot with tenuous connections drawn and leaps in logic made.

When Aung San Suu Kyi is released from prison in 2011 and goes to visit people Tony phrases this as ‘Aung San Suu Kyi is planning her own attempt at stirring up political unrest by going on a “national tour“‘ which is exactly what the military junta called it. There are some odd choices on he likes, but then you when think about it, he likes Chavez for “being independent and for having the nerve to challenge the extraterritorial interests of an increasingly violent and unhinged West”, but Thaksin is an autocrat. He is a supporter of self-sufficiency calling it a Globalist’s Worst Nightmare. His writings fit the pattern of others who are paranoid about a so-scalled global elite. Vaccines are not vaccines, they are “Globalist Vaccines“. 9/11 was an inside job etc.

Tony has a number of recent fans. When Veera in the Bangkok Post wanted to rebut the New York Times‘ Thomas Fuller, he told readers to go read Tony for “the other side of the story!”. When Bangkok Post‘s sister language Thai publication wanted to critique that Washington Post editorial, whose article did they translate into Thai? Tony’s post. Post Today have also translated two of his other posts – see here and here. Of course, in more conservative and nationalist papers such as Naew Na and Thai Post, he is cited.  Then again, we also have Isra News as well who translated one of his long articles. Thailand’s foremost expert? Each to his own…..

*He is a fan of the Democrats although amusingly doesn’t mention Korn’s JP Morgan past; Surin being on the Board of ICG,  ILO’s World Commission on the Social Dimension of Globalization and that he served on the International Advisory Board of the Council on Foreign Relations. This is amusing as all the tenuous connections he draws and with some of these bodies are apparently plotting against the Democrats and Thailand and have sided with Thaksin….
