Venture backed startup MobStac has launched HTML5stac, a cloud based platform for HTML5 and JavaScript developers to build responsive websites and mobile apps. You can use HTML5stac to create websites as well as hybrid mobile apps using frameworks like PhoneGap, the company said in a blogpost.
The platform has the following features:
JavaScript everywhere: both on the client & server-side
RESTful APIs for all data objects
Live API console & data inspector
Device-aware templating built on Handlebars.js
HTML5stac uses libraries like Backbone.js, and the Bootstrap front-end framework. You can sign up for the beta invite list here. Mobstac is backed by Accel Partners & Mumbai Angels.
