Job Description

The Human Resources Manager will serve as a key business partner for the Informtion Technology Team. This position will regularly interact with executives, all levels of management and employees throughout the global organization and report to the Executive Director of Talent Manager with a dotted line to the VP and CIO. The HR Manager will be responsible for business HR generalist activities including recruiting, compliance, recordkeeping, and corporate/site policy management. The HR Manager will operate with minimal daily supervision and must be able to exercise a high level of discretion and latitude in completing tasks and decisions.

* Serve as a business partner to provide direction, coaching and counseling to managers, and employees on HR related issues in support and alignment with the HR strategic initiatives and processes.
* Manage business relationships and serve as an expert resource in strategic and tactical approaches to HR management in areas including employee relations, employee development, policy and procedure development, and performance evaluation.
* Work collaboratively with local peers within each region to recruit, engage, and assist in IT Employee relations issues globally.
* Serve as expert and trusted resource on all federal, state and local laws and regulations and ensure all HR policies and practices are in compliance with specific legal requirements.
* Administer the employment function, which includes recruiting and screening of applicants, facilitating the use of any temporary employment agencies and managing the job posting system for internal/external candidates in accordance with company and legal guidelines.
* Maintain all personnel records in accordance with EEO, privacy, and related requirements. Advise management teams regarding prompt and accurate completion of all status changes and in assuring prompt and accurate updated information in the HRIS system.
* Ensure effective communication with other departments to accomplish the goals and objectives of the overall business and the HR department.
* Effectively support and foster the company's Open Door Policy
* Lead employee-related investigations and serve as the primary liaison with corporate legal counsel.
* Prepare monthly and quarterly HR metrics reports, assessing trends and themes and making recommendations to HR Leadership team.
* Coordinate, facilitate and/or assist in all training activities within the facility (i.e. safety compliance, orientation programs, job knowledge, and leadership performances).
Required Skills

* Strong influencing and relationship building skills with all levels of management in a fast paced environment.
* Proven success in coaching, counseling, facilitating, and training multiple levels of both exempt and non-exempt staff.
* Previous experience with organization development and change management.
* Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Experience working in a corporate environment.
* Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point required. SAP experience preferred.
* Broad knowledge of general employment laws, recruitment, EEO/AAP, safety training and policy development.
* Able to demonstrates ability to solve complex problems by analyzing variables and applying appropriate solutions learned through experience and proficiency. Must be able to recognize anomalies and critical situations and respond appropriately.
Required Experience

* Bachelor’s degree with Human Resources emphasis.
* 5 years’ progressive experience in Human Resources.
* Information Technology (IT) functional experience Preferred
* International experience and knowledge of regulations and standards affecting the business.
