This immediate position is for an HR Labor Rep at the Cleveland Engine Plant located in Brook Park, Ohio (suburb of Cleveland).

Position Duties:
·Administer Labor Relations functions for hourly employees at the facility
·Coordinate and assist in UAW contract implementation and ongoing administration of the Master and Local Collective Bargaining Agreements
·Maintain positive Union/Management relations
·Deliver HR products and services, including labor agreements, in accordance with applicable employment laws, regulatory agencies, regulations, policies, and practices (e.g. ethics, health and safety)
·Provide personnel planning direction to operations utilizing organizational development and change management tools and processes
·Coach, counsel, and educate operations partners on HR policies, processes, programs and strategies
·Build strong relationships with operations partners, Union representatives, HR colleagues and experts, and other business partners to jointly deliver business objectives and resolve issues
·Foster an effective, inclusive work environment / culture and relationships, balancing employee advocacy with stewardship of company goals and values
·Analyze data and use technology to proactively identify and diagnose business needs / opportunities and develop solutions to meet those needs
·Support operations management in action planning related to employee engagement and morale
·Support HR efforts related to investigations, governmental inquiries / charges, grievance resolution, performance and absence management, complaints of unfair employment practices / discrimination, and disciplinary action

Minimum Qualifications:
·3+ years of Human Resources experience
·Master's Degree required (MBA, MLIR, JD, MAHR or related degree concentration desired) OR equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of HR experience)
·Experience in a manufacturing environment (unionized is preferred) with demonstrated negotiations and conflict resolution capability
·Willing to work in a manufacturing plant environment, including shift work as required
·Willing to relocate to other corporate and/or manufacturing plant locations outside of Ohio
·HR Business Partner experience including project management, change management and/or organizational development
·Strong communications, interpersonal, leadership and computer skills
