**Purpose Statement: Maintain critical mechanical, electrical and control systems in a Critical Environment Facility.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**_Maintain Data Center Systems_**

+ Diagnose and repair control systems malfunctions requiring extensive knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems and ability to test and write modifications in multiple languages of systems software

+ Review operating equipment data for efficiency improvements. Monitor all building systems for abnormal operating trends and make optimization adjustments accordingly.

+ Report problems or changes to management immediately

+ Collect data and prepare reports as directed.

+ Responsible for site BMS/EPMS system changes/ enhancements.

+ POC for account teams BMS

+ Perform routine maintenance and break fix tasks in accordance with McKinstry Co. Safety Policy and Procedures

+ Evaluate and recommend system upgrades

+ Respond to emergency calls

+ Escalate issues to Facility Manager as needed

+ Develop a critical spare parts list for the BMMS/EPMS system.

+ Solicit proposals for outsourced work

+ Work with vendors and contractors to ensure their work meets McKinstry and Client standards

**_Customer Service_**

+ Back-up the LCFE as point of contact for clients and project teams

+ Maintain positive and professional working relationships with internal and external clients

+ Respond to customer requests for service

**_People Management_**

+ Ability to coordinate the work of others on multiple tasks.

+ Effective interpersonal skills to represent McKinstry in an ethical and professional manner

+ Explain technical information to technical and non-technical people

+ Adhere to all McKinstry and customer safety standards

+ Train the teams in control systems operations

+ Provides mentorship for Technicians

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, and ABILITIES

+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook and Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.

+ Working knowledge of Data Center operations.

+ Working knowledge of Siemens mechanical, electrical and life safety monitoring and control systems typically used in critical environments.

+ Ability to read blueprints/CAD drawings.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

+ Physical ability to walk jobsites in uneven terrain.

+ Provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office; reimbursed.
