**Job Description / Information**

The Sr. Supply Planner is responsible for leading & improving the supply planning efforts in collaboration with division partners, production, engineering, and quality. In addition to leading Supply Planning activities for assigned manufacturing lines, the Sr. Supply Planner will also lead major supply chain process improvement efforts, such as MRP implementation, inventory optimization, and building supply and inventory management business analytics models.

The Sr. Supply Planner will serve as the main point of contact for all manufacturing planning activities related to demand of Neurovascular product lines, both internal to Stryker and external contract manufacturing/OEM devices.

Core Supply Planning activities include: Develop monthly capacity requirements to derive future business resource requirements for both internal and external production capabilities. Responsible for achieving and improving both service level and supply attainment metrics. Provide reliable and accurate forecasts to cross-functional teams and suppliers to increase visibility of requirements and reduce inventory throughout the value chain. Work collaboratively with division partners and lead efforts to address demand-supply gaps and plans to close the gaps.

Supply Planner assures 100% alignment, support, and further development of the Neurovascular IBP Supply Planning process, demonstrating thought leadership, creativity in solving problems and the ability to appropriately communicate and escalate issues as needed.

Create and maintain high quality planning requirements and supply planning analytics. Must assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating/maintaining the supply plan, including Global Supply Chain Net Requirements, historical requirements, inventory availability, yield data, BOM’s, supplier planning information, MRP, MPS, and production activity control.

Successfully lead cross-functional teams in monthly supply planning working sessions and supply reviews of supply planning processes. Ensure the supply plan is collected and approved by the required business leaders.

Work with financial leaders to update the financial forecasts per the required scheduled cadence.

Support execution for all new product launches and end of life phases as it relates to the supply planning function.

Partner with Fremont, Cork Supply Planning team & other regional supply planners to create reporting analytics to support the business needs for better information in the decision-making process.

Understand the corporate/departmental objectives for supply planning and ensure adherence to established standard business and system processes.

Improve the supply planning quality by effectively analyzing sources of supply volatility and recommending appropriate action plans.

Achieve or exceed the identified goals and KPI targets, supporting corporate/department goals and KPI targets as directed.

Support training and education sessions as needed both within the supply planning team and across the organization as warranted.

Maintain awareness of industry best practices and the ability to advocate for and translate those into supply planning practices where appropriate.

Act as a role model to the department and organization for your work ethic, integrity, and team approach.

**Minimum Qualifications**

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Graduate degree, APICS or ISM certification, and SAP/Oracle experience preferred.

• 5+ years Supply Planning & Supply Chain Management experience

• Experience working in a global organization.

• Medical device industry experience preferred

• Experience leading supply planning processes, such as new product introductions, capacity analytics & inventory management required

• Understanding of end to end supply chain interaction & interdependencies required

• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)

• Involvement and/or leadership in S&OP process

• Oracle experience preferred.

• Demonstrated analytical, organizational & communication skills

• Strong written and oral communications skills.

• Strong project management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work on a team with a heavy customer focus

• Demonstrated ability to deliver well researched and accurate information in a fast paced environment
