ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interface and coordinates with supporting GM business units on all issues affecting stakeholders and sites for which SUM is responsible, including but not limited to: Environmental, Health and Safety, Security, Real Estate, Administration Services, Purchasing, Contract Administration, Facility Projects, Facility Engineering, IT, Finance, Communications, and Resource Management\.

Supports and drives successful planning and execution of all Global Facilities\-Global Manufacturing System principles and elements within their portfolio\.

Supports and drives successful planning and execution of the Project Planning Process and the Project Management Process\.

Acts as the owner and is responsible for the delivery of all quality and reliable site utility systems and associated buildings/facilities if applicable including but not limited to: steam, compressed air, condensate, water, electric, and gas; accountable for successful planning, conducting facility condition assessment, and execute asset sustainment plan and strategies\.

Responsible for the technical review to ensure compliance with GM Guidelines, General Terms and Conditions, all applicable licensing, codes, permits, and regulations from authorities\.

Support and adhere to the GM Process Risk Management \(PRM\) process and assist in resolution of all non\-compliance issues\.

Stay current in your field of expertise in facility technologies and processes including but not limited to: codes, building technologies, energy and building management systems, best practices, and certifications\.

Responsible to ensure all facility drawings are maintained current and accurate including but not limited to: revise construction documents to “as\-built” conditions, coordinating with the appropriate GM personnel for updating GM Master CADD files and archiving projects as required by GM\.

Responsible to audit, monitor, and inspect maintenance performed on site utility related systems including but not limited to all required log sheets, metering equipment and other related equipment\.

Manage all approved site utility projects including but not limited to: forecasting, accruals, invoice process, ensuring allocated, committed, and spent funds are balanced\.

Plan and manage all facility shutdown activities including planned and unplanned interruptions following the escalation process including but not limited to: supporting emergency response plans, disaster recovery plans, and business resumption and continuity process with regards to site utility infrastructure\. \(IE readily available for all emergencies\)

Supports and drives successful planning and execution of the Global Safety and IH Management System \(Global Facilities related\) including but not limited to: speak up for safety, call to action, safety observation tours, employee safety concerns, incident investigation, safety module compliance, sentinel events, and G\-Comply \(Sign\-off procedure\)

Perform specific tasks assigned by Global Facilities leadership\.

Support and promote environmental activities/initiatives such as Project GREEN, Wildlife Habitat Council, EnergyStar, LEED, and landfill free\.

Support and assist in the successful execution of GM sponsored programs including but not limited to: suggestion programs, recognition, special events, tours, and community outreach\.

Support and adhere to the GM Process Risk Management \(PRM\) process and assist in resolution of all non\-compliance issues\.

Adhere and comply to all internal control policies applicable to GF including but not limited to: training, access control, Service Agreement provider, onboarding and off boarding, and Signature Authorization Database\.

Develop and execute site utility budgets to meet cost objectives\.

Supports Emergency Response Plan and evacuation/take shelter planning coordination with Security, Fire Prevention, Safety, and key stakeholders\. \(Emergency Response Coordinating Team and Emergency Group Coordinators\)

Responsible for the efficient and timely execution of all facility services \(Bill of Service, Bill of Material, Statement of Work\) for site utility systems and associated buildings/facilities if applicable including but not limited to: housekeeping, grounds, all maintenance services, third party services, and stakeholder requests\.

Supports and drives successful planning and execution of Global Facilities HR management including but not limited to: staffing requirements, performance assessments, Career Development, tools and equipment, and required training where applicable\.

Develop and analyze energy performance/audits and reports to leadership and drive continuous improvement ideas within their span of control including but not limited to: energy and water reduction projects, energy sufficiency, promotion communications, and curtailment plans\.

Administer the applicable local and national labor contracts including but not limited to: overtime equalization, cross training, and scheduling\.

Optimize building and facility services guided by industry benchmark standards including but not limited to: space utilization \(move service center, furniture/ergonomics\), energy efficiency, Service Agreement deliverables, and On\-Demand activities\.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree with a major in Engineering, Facilities Maintenance/Management or equivalent training/experience\.

3\-5 years of experience in facility/building systems and/or property management processes\.

Technical aptitude in business application software and other related electronic tools

Preferred BOMI or IFMA or other applicable professional certifications\.
