The Towers Watson Global Recruiting Center of Expertise provides state of the art, full life-cycle recruiting services. We partner with business leaders to define recruiting needs and develop a clear and comprehensive plan for achieving them.
We develop attraction and sourcing strategies, create employment value propositions and recruiting tools, manage a streamlined interview process and effectively close and onboard candidates at all hire levels.

The Role
The German Talent Acquisition team, based in Frankfurt, is looking for a creative, results focused and team orientated

Senior Cross Segment Recruiter.

The Senior Cross Segment Recruiter will be responsible for their own open positions which will include end to end sourcing and recruitment for junior, mid and senior level roles as well as providing high-level support to the Recruitment Manager, including fully representing the talent acquisition team where appropriate.

The Talent Acquisition team is a regional team across EMEA. We work autonomously on our own roles, yet work as a close knit team supporting each other and sharing workload as appropriate.

We are ideally looking to recruit someone with previous recruitment experience, and experience working in professional services.

Performance Objectives:

Excellence

* Create attractive role profiles, job descriptions and adverts for entry-, mid and senior-levels
* Build screening, assessment and other tools and resources used in execution of the recruiting strategy
* Manage the entire life cycle of the recruiting process for any level job opening including establishing overall recruiting strategy, manage all corresponding processes and keep an eye on a positive time-to-fill record
* Identify talent within the marketplace to create a pipeline for current and future hiring needs
* Champion and support and embed Towers Watson recruitment approaches and tools
* Ensure record keeping and maintaining the recruitment database
* Source and use relevant job boards and social media channels to advertise roles, writing attractive and relevant adverts as necessary.
* Approach change initiatives by suggesting ways to improve
* Develop project plans as a project leader for local projects, while supporting global recruiting projects as appropriate.
* Able and willing to acquire in-depth knowledge regarding Towers Watson, utilising prior experience of a similar business model and matrix organisational structure to quickly navigate the Firm
People

* Proactively work with the Recruitment Manager, the German team as well as the EMEA Recruitment team. Be able to undertake key due diligence roles for reorganizational projects, to ensure the Firm structures are adapted to the Global requirements whilst taking into due consideration the local requirements.
* Build effective relationships at a senior level, evolving these over time as necessary. Representing the recruitment team at this level, showing the necessary level of gravitas to function effectively in face to face meetings.
* Work and build effective relationships with other stake holders to provide support as necessary.
* Promote I & D to meet diversity, gender and other specific recruiting goals
* Ensure cross sharing of expertise, ideas, best practice and candidates across the team

Clients

* Establish a trusted advisor role with hiring managers concerning recruiting and related talent management strategies; provide high quality client relationship management
* Applies understanding of the TW business and recruiting market issues do develop recommendations and provide input into work processes
* Partner with relevant HR Advisers, ensuring communication channels are open regarding feedback from exit interviews and resignations
* Leads projects and discussions and provides ideas on process improvements
* Partner with interview teams and hiring managers to appropriately evaluate and manage candidates through the interview process
* Communicate progress to hiring managers concerning status of one’s own searches and articulate plans to adjust activity where necessary
* Build strong relationships with current and potential associates, ensuring an excellent candidate experience at all times, including experienced and senior level candidates
Financial

* Promote low cost sourcing strategies wherever suitable
* Meet or exceed objectives related with the business’ recruiting needs
* Consistently explore new and innovative approaches that reduce recruiting costs while maintaining high quality support
* Maintain relationships with new hires and promote the associate referral programme
* Work with the Recruitment Manager regarding preferred agencies and negotiating rates.

The Requirements

* University or comparable academic degree; economics related degree would be ideal
* Recruitment experience
* Ability to run local projects and effectively support any global projects as required. Must be process orientated and delivery focussed to see project through from start to the end;
* Knowledge of recruitment processes and principles
* Able to build relationships quickly and influence at all levels
* Confident negotiating agency rates, discussing complicated compensation and closing offers
* Proficiency in office software/systems (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with candidate management systems
* Ability to offer creative recruitment ideas, whilst following necessary processes
* Ability to embrace new systems and technology
* Able to multi-task, think on your feet and think outside the box
* Able to work proactively as part of a team
