Job Description / Information

Job Overview

We are currently searching for experienced sales professionals (3 to 5 years medical device sales) in the Vancouver marketplace to support this initiative. The current opportunities are focused within the Craniomaxillofacial, Spine and Surgical Navigation fields. These opportunities will offer tremendous short and long term opportunity for the right candidates.

Responsibilities

Individual Responsibilities:

• Proactively collaborates with internal teams, other neurosurgical counterparts and other Stryker divisions to promote a culture of inclusiveness and cooperation.

• Learn existing surgical products as well as new product innovations to sustain and grow Stryker’s business within the assigned geographical territory

• Responsible to live and exemplify Stryker’s Values: Integrity, Accountability, People, and Performance

Functional Responsibilities:

• Directly responsible for the promotion and sale of Stryker products

• Educates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker Products

• Directs product evaluations in operating rooms and office settings

• May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings

• Keeps Regional/National Sales Manager informed of territory progress on a regular basis

• Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion

• Managing and maintaining a sample inventory of products

• Must understand and adhere to all operating room and pertinent Occupational Health and Safety Act guidelines when conducting a product evaluation

• Has the necessary authority to execute above mentioned job responsibilities, and will have authority to carry out specific responsibilities defined by quality system documents

• Has authority to recommend and initiate preventative and correction action with regard to product non-conformances and quality system activities

• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge & Skill Requirements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent strategic and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational skills

Education & Qualifications
• University Degree – (B.B.A. or B.A in business with an emphasis in marketing or health related discipline, science, or kinesiology)
• 3-5 years in an outside sales position (medical related field is preferred)
• Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
