**Overview:**
Palladian Partners, an Altarum Institute company, is pleased to announce an opening for a Digital Project Manager for our Virtual Meetings team\. This position will be located in our Washington, DC office, but plans are in place to move the position to our Silver Spring, MD headquarters in the future\. Palladian Partners is a creative communications firm dedicated to disseminating information about new discoveries in health, medicine, and social science to professionals, educators, patients, families, and the public\.
**Responsibilities:**
The ideal candidate is a self\-starter dedicated to producing results and leading a variety of tasks on a small project team\. This person will be responsible for interacting directly with clients on a daily basis, including working with high\-profile healthcare industry professionals, planning communications projects and initiatives and working as part of an integrated project team with federal and non\-government partners\. Above all else, this person understands the importance of client service, and knows how to anticipate needs, always staying one step ahead in an ever\-changing project environment\.

**Here’s what you’ll be doing:**

+ Work closely and effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and project goals
+ Develop strategies for communicating with stakeholders through virtual meetings, and traditional and digital communications channels
+ Interact directly with team to manage the scheduling, materials, resources and meetings \(virtual and in person\) for a high\-profile project for a government agency
+ Facilitate the timely completion of tasks, coordinate logistics and resources, and assist in overall project planning
+ Take ownership of ensuring project milestones are met on\-time, on\-budget, and completed at the highest level of quality
+ Collaborate with team members to identify client needs and to develop and manage project plans, priorities, timetables, and deliverables
**Qualifications:**
+ Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, preferably in strategic communications or virtual meetings\. Federal project management is a plus\.
+ Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration or related field\. Master’s degree is a plus\.
+ Experience in event planning and webinar training and management preferred\.
+ Strong customer service orientation and an interest in building open, trusting client relationships; ability to think critically under pressure, and consult with clients accordingly\.
+ Diligent attention to detail in a constantly changing project environment\.
+ Ability to solve problems quickly and creatively
+ Proven ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
+ Collaborative team player who works well as a leader and member of a matrix environment
+ Flexible—willing to do the nitty\-gritty work required to make a project successful
+ Positive—ability to collaborate with and promote a positive relationship between colleagues, partners, and clients
+ Composed, even unflappable—adjusting to change with ease no matter the circumstance\.
+ Advanced skill in Microsoft Office products, especially the features in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel\.
