Job Description

The Global Business Intelligence Leader Clean Air is designing, implementing, and continuous improving the central business intelligence tool and business metrics across the Global Clean Air organization. He / She is responsible for the overall productivity of the tool that will drive the sales organization globally and communalizes data with adjacent functions. The BI Leader will enable the various SBU teams and key functions by providing operational and business data and data analysis with a focus on increasing sales efficiency and effectiveness and bridging the gap between sales and the rest of the organization. He/She is responsible for helping to drive sales productivity, sales forecasting and sales analytics. This includes planning, reporting, sales process optimization, opportunity management, training and sales program implementation. As key enabler he / she will own the design and implementation of the BI Tool and is responsible for data management, data integrity, and design.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and problem solving skills and be adept at building relationships with/influencing leaders and peers at multiple levels across the organization including Executive Management, Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Business Operations, Product Management, Marketing. The candidate is expected to design, implement, and maintain the BI system. Output and analytical insights will be utilized in executive level presentations and help drive critical business decisions. Experience in design, implementation, and operational management of Salesforce or similar tool is a must. This fast-paced role requires a pro-active and detail orientated person who can quickly understand how our business operates to satisfy customers and generate profits.

Responsibilities:

* In partnership with critical business functions designs and implements the business intelligence tool, alignment of overall business process to drive maximum functionality and adoption
* In partnership with the Global Sales Operations team drives the development of sales operations processes, tools and enabling technologies for the Clean Air Business Group and effectively leads the execution and implementation of the above within the
* Manages global sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes. Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency
* Works to ensure all sales organization objectives are assigned in a timely fashion. Interacts regularly with BU Leadership to drive accountability to plans/projects.
* Drives adoption of forecasting tools and dashboards within all BUs. Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed. Assists with regional support in tracking and analysis in all Sales data. Ensure data gets maintained in a repeatable, meaningful and proper way.
* Works with the BU leadership team to make sound business decisions utilizing and analyzing appropriate sales and marketing data. This includes building standards, key metrics, analyzing trends and reporting with Account Management Leads, gets strategy involved where appropriate
* Orchestrates and facilitates the monthly forecast review with the Sales Management team. Collaborates with the BU teams in the execution of TAS and opportunity management processes.
* Analyzes and optimizes sales processes, sales effectiveness and related tools. Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement to raise sales force productivity. Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.
* Implements enabling technologies, including CRM, within BU teams. Monitors the assigned sales organization’s compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data. Owns the on-going management and upgrade of CRM system.
* Oversees sales operations processes for pricing and contract management, including the validation of orders, implementation of pricing strategies, contracts, and billing. Conducts analysis of legal agreements and commercial documents including commercial terms, conditions, contracts and financials with the assistance of Contract Management (Legal) and Finance.
* Coordinates training delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support personnel for the organization
* Consults with BU Management teams to manage periodic sales territory and hierarchy changes and sales rep changes to ensure appropriate mapping into our sales systems.
* Supports BU Management the equitable assignment of sales force quotas and ensures quotas are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources.
* Attends global sales management meetings to provide updates on relevant Sales Operations initiatives and deployment

Required Skills

Desired Skills and Experience

* 7+ years in a Sales, Sales Operations/Sales role, including business analytics (implementation, tracking, reporting)
* 2-5years of CRM management experience. Proficiency with Salesforce.com an asset
* Advanced project management and meeting facilitation experience within in-depth expertise with Microsoft Excel.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field, Masters Degree a plus.
* Ability to work in global matrix organization, achieving results
