This page outlines my personal reviews for each game in the ''[[Tales]]'' series I've played. I have brief reviews of my favorite games included in my profile, but these reviews are more comprehensive and encompass more than solely my favorites. Sections are divided by game, and I've included the version bulleted below each. Enjoy!
==Tales of Phantasia==

''[[Tales of Phantasia]]''! The first of the series! This was also one of my first ''Tales'' games to play. I want to say I enjoyed it, but reflecting back, the GBA localized port simply wasn't all that impressive. In fact, I don't even remember much about the story from playing it; pretty much all I know is from editing this wiki, haha. Nonetheless, I think it's a great beginner for the series, and it has plenty of versions to make playing it worthwhile. The story is interesting, and the characters are actually pretty decent. [[Mint Adenade]] is such an adorable character. A quintessential healer in her own right, she set a precedent for future healers in the series. [[Arsia]] was another favorite character simply because I could relate so well to her backstory. I will also note that I'm particularly drawn to the events taking place prior to the game's story. Very well developed.

==Tales of Destiny==

''[[Tales of Destiny (PS2)|Tales of Destiny]]''! Ah, simply one of my favorite games in the series. Definitely in the top three. Keep in mind that I'm referring to the PS2 remake, not the original PSX version. I love almost everything about this game, from its story and interesting characters, to its engaging battle system. My first playthrough of the game, I didn't pay attention to or understand the plot that much, but my second playthrough changed that entirely. Not sure how that happened. Such good development in regard to the planet's history and how modern society functions now. The landscape and geography also drew me in.
It was refreshing to have so many playable characters, enough that even I, being as picky as I am, enjoyed playing as three: [[Rutee Katrea]], [[Mary Argent]], and [[Chelsea Torn]]. Rutee in the beginning, sometimes switching back and forth between her and Mary cause I love me some Mary, but definitely always Chelsea once she joins the group for good. I love playing as archers! Chelsea's cute, but Mary is, without a doubt, my favorite character in terms of personality. I was also drawn to [[Ilene Rembrandt]], the femme fatale of [[Oberon Corporation]]. The game's battle system is fast-paced and addictive; never once was I fed up with random encounters.
