Kentucky’s bench is coming on strong, and more in today’s headlines.
Kentucky’s bench has come on strong in recent games. After scoring just 4 points against Tennessee (and all 4 of those coming from Derek Willis), the bench has been huge in helping Kentucky bounce back from their skid. In the revenge game against Tennessee, the bench scored 31 points, and last night the bench scored 25. The seniors Derek Willis and Dominique Hawkins have been huge contributors off the bench lately, averaging 11.5 and 9.5 points in the last two games, respectively. Senior Mychal Mulder also stepped up with 9 points against Georgia, so the veterans coming off the bench have been big for the Kentucky bench.
