LEAD PASTOR

Ekklesia Atlanta Christian Fellowship is looking for a brother to serve full-time as Lead Pastor.  The role seeks primarily to care for and equip the congregation for kingdom work (Ep 4:12) and to make disciples of all nations (Mt 28:19).  The role will be subject to evaluation by the council of elders while being an equal member to the elders.

Overview

Passionate to equip members through preaching and lived example, challenge members to put faith into action, serve as the spiritual leader of the church, help facilitate the growth and maturation of all ministries, genuine care for members beyond regular Community Group and member visitations, experience in and desire to reach communities with the gospel, works humbly and peaceably with staff, elders, and deacons.

Ekklesia Atlanta Christian Fellowship (EACF) is a non-denominational church of approximately 100 mostly Chinese-American adults.  Our church started as a part of Atlanta Chinese Christian Church (ACCC) and came to formal legal independence in 2015.  While EACF is independent from ACCC, the two operate in a dual-church model where facilities and children/youth ministries are shared.  Further information regarding our church history can be found on our website (www.ekklesiaatlanta.org/history).

Qualifications

The candidate should have accepted God’s call into pastoral ministry and meet the biblical requirements as stated in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9, has experience as an associate or senior pastor, obtained Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree from an accredited seminary, be disciplined and motivated in the care of his own faith, exhibit faith in areas outside of his pastor role, be able to provide counseling to church members in times of need, and be able to mentor staff.

SENIOR PASTOR

Oakland Christian Church, in North-central Indiana, is seeking a full-time senior pastor due to the announced retirement of our current pastor. STUDENT PASTOR

Position Description

​This position is designed to provide hands on leadership of the Student Ministries ( 6th – 12th Grade) for the Mt. Job Responsibilities​

View Campus, recruit, develop and disciple small group leaders to lead and disciple students, develop and mobilize volunteer teams to serve in student ministry in varying capacities, strengthen the all campus student ministry structure by using your gifts and talents to impact the team, be active in student’s lives inside and outside the walls of the church on a weekly basis, encourage students to be involved in serving / missions by providing opportunities to serve in the community or mission trips, produce regular outreach – oriented events for students that will align with the overall mission of Christ Church; to reach the unchurched and develop devoted followers of Christ, and be willing to do whatever it takes without breaking the law; in alignment with the mission of the church to reach students for Christ.

DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATIONS MANAGER

Common Good Community Development Corporation is looking to hire a Development and Operations Manager.

Position Overview

Responsible for planning, organizing and directing all fundraising initiatives and activities of the organization.  Maximize funds raised by the organization while increasing support for and awareness of the mission. Responsible for day-to-day office operations and oversight of basic accounting functions.   Work closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors in all development and fundraising endeavors.  This is a full-time position (40+ hours a week).

Essential Job Functions

Develop annual fundraising goals and strategic plan to achieve goals; nourish current financial partnerships/donor relationships as well as cultivate new ones with individuals, corporations, churches, foundations and civic organizations; work alongside Executive Director and Board of Directors to host Common Good’s main fundraising events; identify and pursue new fundraising events and opportunities with a special focus on foundations and corporations; identify grant opportunities and execute proposals, including research, application and reporting requirements; attend speaking engagements at public community events and churches to share about the work of Common Good; serve on Common Good’s Fundraising and Special Events Board Committee; write, design, print and mail quarterly newsletters; responsible for day-to-day operations of the organization like paying bills, supply orders, payment follow up for After-School and Summer Program fees, etc; work with Common Good’s accounting firm to ensure all accounting functions  are complete and accurate; and manage all receipts, invoices, donations, bank deposits, etc.
