Marta Barisca is the founder of Directivism a new art movement based on clean, clear painting with no corrections. She is a graduate of OCAD University. Her large paintings have gained recognition amongst set decorators, art directors, curators, and collectors – with her work appearing in over 30 films & TV series including Fifty Shades of Grey and Continuum. Marta’s paintings are in many collections including Cenovus Energy, Singleton Urquhart LLP, Reliance Properties, The University of Toronto, and numerous private collections. She has exhibited her paintings in galleries in Canada and the United States. A huge commission for Tim Burton’s movie Big Eyes is similar this Splash 2016 piece.
