How I improve my Alexa rank?
Today’s post is actually a case study of my new Blog’s Alexa rank improvements. I have seen many people who are asking just a simple question and that is that how they can improve their Alexa rank to get more advertisements on their blogs.
You also need a Good alexa rank to get BuySellAds approval. BSA is an online advertisement company which helps publishers(website owners) to get advertisements directly from Advertisers.
BuySellAds is probably the best platform to get ads for your Blog. But as I said you need a good alexa rank for your Web to get BSA approval. And by good alexa rank I mean Alexa rank below 100000 Globally.

But as we know that BSA isn’t our concern for this particular article. Our focus is Alexa rank and how did I improve my rank from 21616060 to 442588 in 93 days.
Remember the major part of this article is based on just my personal experience and only a few sources are used to prepare this content. I hope you will learn something new from this post.
So here are my tips from which you can improve your Alexa Rank rapidly.
Claim your Website
The first thing you will need is to claim your website. You should first make an account on Alexa and then you should visit your website statistics page which will be alexa .com/siteinfo/yourdomainname .com. In the bottom of the page you will find a small blue button “Edit Site Info” you should click there and start editing your site info.

Since claiming your website on Alexa isn’t our topic, our topic is improving Alexa ranking so we will just focus on it. However, claiming your blog will also help you to improve your alexa rank.
Download Alexa Toolbar
Alexa toolbar is the biggest source from which Alexa ranks a website. As many people with alexa toolbar will visit your blog as much improvement you will get for your ranking.
You will surely visit your Blog at-least 10 times in a day and if you have Alexa toolbar then every single visit of yours will be reported to Alexa database which will help you to super charge your alexa ranking in the very initial stage of your Blog.
Write Consistently
Whenever I write a post on my Blog the next day my Alexa rank improves. You can follow my alexa ranking metrics to make sure that whether my claim is true or not. But for your ease here is an image to prove my words.
After writing a few posts I managed to improve my rank from 742764 to 442588 in just 15 days.

As you can see my rank has improved everyday by grace of Allah(The most merciful) and with the help of the capability “HE” gave me. As the title shows one of the most important capabilities amongst all is my frequency rate of publishing articles. If you will examine other blogs you will get the same results, they got improvement in ranking when they publish. Blogs and websites which are active are improving their Alexa ranks everyday but blogs who are not active are hurting their rankings everyday because a competitor is always there to replace them.
Make Quality Backlinks
One another important factor to improve your Alexa rank is backlinks but backlinks for good Alexa rank are very different from those backlinks which we make for high ranking in SERPs.
When you are making backlinks for your Blog to improve Alexa ranking make sure that the website on which you are making a link for your blog has a decent rank on Alexa because links from those websites who have already a good rank on Alexa will increase your Blog’s authority. The theory is same high quality backlinks means high quality results and we all know what are quality backlinks.
But I will like to describe the whole theory for alexa backlinks in just a few words : A link for your Blog from a high ranking page, lets say youtube will increase your blog’s authority in eyes of Alexa which means a rapid amelioration in your blog’s rank.
Target Specific Audience
As far as your audience is concerned you should focus on people who have alexa toolbar installed in their browsers. But the problem is that how we will know that which guy has alexa toolbar in his browser and which has not?
Indeed a good question, But there is a simple answer for this query. As we all know that the majority of Bloggers use Alexa toolbars to know a blog’s authority which they are visiting. So why don’t we target them? It will ensure a severe improvement in our rank.
But the question has changed now, And the new question is that how we can get other bloggers convince to visit our Blog?
The answer is write quality content and they will come automatically.

For this you need to make your presence on Bloggers communities. Make your accounts on several bloggers communities and share your articles with people who are there. If you will like me to refer a few communities to you then read this article to know that what blogging communities can help you to get specific traffic (bloggers) on your blog.
You should build great relationships with senior members of these communities and then you can get decent amount of traffic from there.
You can also share your content on SEO and Web designing websites by writing good comments there. And just add your article link in your comment. If a blog has commentluv plugin installed then don’t miss the chance.
By this trick many people from that website will visit your page and the best fact about those people will be that majority of them will be bloggers because only people related to blogging and web developing visit SEO and web development websites. And did you forget they can have Alexa toolbar in their browsers because they are Bloggers.
You can also visit fan pages of different famous blogs on social media websites and can share your content on their social pages. In result many people from there will visit your Blog.
