Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Arts Centre will come alive on Friday 20 March with an exciting night of art, music, food and markets along with a range of creative activities – everyone is welcome!

Hazelhurst Gallery Director Belinda Hanrahan said “Many galleries around the world open late to cater for our busy lifestyles, and now Hazelhurst is bringing this evening element into the Shire.”

In the Regional Gallery you can join a ‘quick’ ten-minute tour of ARTEXPRESS and gain some unique insights as student artists discuss their works at 6.30pm and 7.30pm.

The evening will also feature the fresh sound of live music by local school band, The Kirrawee High School Stage Band, plus a special suitcase Wild Ones Market with plenty of unique gifts to browse and purchase, from a highly curated selection of contemporary Australian design wares.

Feeling creative? Pop by the Zine Workshop with expert zine-maker Miss Helen and unleash your illustration, writing, collage skills and create your very own piece of personal expression. Also, don’t forget to say “cheese” when you visit the Class of 2015 photo booth. Throw on some school inspired props and capture the moment with a polaroid picture to keep.

Mingle with friends over a cocktail and tapas in the newly decked out Hazelhurst Café whilst relaxing to the live music. Don’t leave too early as the lucky door prize will be drawn at the end of the night with the winner receiving a $100 gift voucher, courtesy Hazelhurst Café.
