The impenetrable wall that was the Kansas City defense was breached by the Denver Broncos two weeks ago, when Peyton Manning and his cohorts ran up and down the field in a 27-17 victory.

Now, what was once considered among the most fearsome groups in the NFL is a wounded one -- both physically and mentally -- as the Broncos prepare to return to Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.
50/50 Raffle At Arrowhead from The Mothership
This year, NFL teams had the opportunity to host a 50/50 raffle, where one lucky fan wins half of the net proceeds, while the other half is donated to a local charity, through the Hunt Family Foundation.
The Chiefs began the raffle program at the home opener on September 15th and through eight games have raised $106,337 for local non-profit agencies in the Kansas City area.

Kansas City Chiefs Mascot Injured In Zip Line Fall, Attorney Blames Human Error from The Associated Press via The NY Daily News
A man who has been the Kansas City Chiefs' mascot for more than two decades was in stable condition after being seriously injured this weekend while rehearsing a zip line routine at Arrowhead Stadium. His attorney said Tuesday his injuries appear to be caused by human error.
Dan Meers, 46, who has played the KC Wolf since the mascot's inception in 1989, was seriously injured Saturday while practicing for Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers. No description of Meers' specific injuries was available, but a longtime friend said Meers suffered a serious back injury.
Justin Houston Likely Out Vs. Denver from ESPN
Kansas City Chiefs star pass-rusher Justin Houston likely will miss Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos because of an injured elbow, team and league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Houston has a dislocated right elbow, an injury he suffered in last weekend's loss to the San Diego Chargers.
