Dear Arnies Airsoft news, Hi all and welcome to the August news letter.
What a month we have in store and July has been the busiest we have ever known. Both Tuddenham and Eversley are at full steam ahead and we have an amazing War & Peace show this year, clearing more kit that we have ever done before. July’s EOM at Tudders is packed out this weekend, but there is always room for a few more.
Operation Lion was a fantastic experience and our First full modern FilmSim main event. We got let down by many issues to pull out of the hat one of the best events we have run in 20years. The role playing was spot on and the level of immersion was as good as it gets. Role on more of the Magnum sagas and Silent War.

Story…
its 1984 and Europe has erupted into all out World War 3. Now the real epic size of the fighting can be seen as other theatres across the globe begin their struggles for power, with the Red faction of the Communist might or the Democratic west and its allies in the form of NATO. Since 1980 the Soviets had began a series of brutal offensives to stamp out the resistance across the country, but with WW3 now in full swing, only chaos now rules the Afghan dust.
Dotted around the country are oil refinery complexes and distribution centers, one of these sits on the delta at Kandahar and was operated by the infamous Col. Adrik Vanya, a well known brutal officer. However, after the success of Operation Black Gold in November 1983, NATO now controls the facility and its vital supply of fuel, made more so after a successful war pact mission left NATO in a dire fuel supply crissis.
The support for NATO from the Mujahedeen freedom fighters in the area has suffered since a problematic situation was left unresolved. Yazan Waqqas, one of the top leaders and close advisors to the war lord Bin laden, has great concerns about their relationship with NATO after a number of agreed tasks, including the destruction of the facility didn’t happen.
Both the British expeditionary force and the East German soldiers assigned to support the soviet army in Afghanistan have been recalled to aid their own war efforts in Europe. Both countries are locked in savage fighting across the border of Communist Germany and can’t spare troops in the East.
The fate of this facility is now left to the men on the ground and whatever relationship they can make with the Afghani people. Everyone has TWO FACES!
Events info.
This is a VERY heavy role play game and not an open day shoot. You MUST come with the right spirit of the game or you will ruin the experience for everyone.
Arrival from 3pm Friday afternoon is fine. Russians and Mujahedeen will be deployed on arrival in the field, so only pack what you need. You will be dropped off and collected Sat out of game. US will be deployed around the facilities and tasked.
Can everyone please bring a tarp to cover your cars up in the car park as we want to use the WHOLE facility if possible!
All other game information will be done by the private war rooms on the forum.
You will need camping gear, food and water to last you 24hrs.
THIS IS A REAL STEAL GAME AS AGREED LAST YEAR!!!!!!!!! Please don’t post your personal thoughts on it; it’s not up for negotiation!

Could all the people playing Afghani’s please try to use bolt action rifles where you can and leave the fully auto weapons to the Armed forces. If you have no choice, please try to make your weapon choice of the old variety. Most WW2 guns are fine!

Battlefield Live Weekend – August Bank Holiday
August 24-25 at Tuddenham
£50 for the weekend with camping from Friday night through to the Monday.
There will be a roast animal/s of somekind and a few Firkins of beer, so we can make a real weekender out of it.
This event is capped at 60 players.£25 deposit must be paid before the game to secure your place. There will be NO refunds but you can sell your ticket on and this is a weekend event, so no day rate.
We will have a gate price of £60 but be assured we are only selling 60 tickets.

Another arctic load of boxes have arrived and the whole village has been cleared out by Andy B and his lads. The site is looking awesome.
Please remember EOM has been moved to the 17-18 August as we have a main event on over the bank holiday.
Norwich news
We have had to close Norwich until September 7-8 where will be re-opening with an Ops weekend. Sadly we didn’t get our planning application so need to save up our days for big weekenders. Anglian Airsoft Club will continue to run their 1 day club day every month however.
Eversley news
Site is looking awesome with so many build days under its belt and more to go. We will start building the FOB this Month, so if you can make it down early on Friday 16 or even Thursday 15 we will be working to get it started. The whole thing will be finished by NAMs Choker event at the End Of Month.
Stoke news
We are looking at a new date soon. We have decided to run a few small events to get the ball rolling, so keep your eyes peeled.
