Evan puts everything in his mouth.. I mean everything! I know that is how babies explore and learn about their world. Jayden didn't put much in his mouth except for his pacifier. But Evan puts everything and more in his mouth. And when he started teething it got worse. He bites and chews on everything. I had to stop wearing my favorite necklace because he he was putting it in his mouth. I worried that he would swallow it and choke. I was so happy that Smart Mom Jewelry agreed to send me some Teething Bling to try. I had been a long time fan of Teething Bling and wanted to try them with Evan. When I was asked which one I wanted I honestly had a really hard time picking. I loved the Cookie Monster one, but I also wanted to try the beaded line, and the square ones were really fun. I had a hard time so I just let Smart Mom Jewelry surprise me. And they did!!
Teething bling is jewelry made for chewing on. Its something that mom wears and baby can safely chew on. It is made from medical grade, food safe silicone. Its the same material that many baby teething toys are made from. The cord is made from nylon and it has a breakaway clasp. Teething Bling is completely safe for baby to chew on.
I was so happy to open the package to find not 1, not 2, but 3 necklaces inside!! And even better they included the cookie monster, a beaded necklace, and a square pendant. I was so excited I didn't know which to try first. I finally settled on the Cookie Monster Pendant first. It is part of their whimsical line. I remember when it came out because it was during their design a pendant contest. Lots of people posted different designs and facebook fans were able to vote. I voted for the Cookie Monster Pendant because I thought it was so cute. And now I am happy to have one of my own. I went out with a friend to take the boys to the mall play place and decide to take the Cookie Monster necklace. Evan of course loved it immediately. When he was getting tired and wanted something to soothe him he grabbed the necklace and began to chew. He will go back and forth between the pendant and the string itself. He likes to chew on the string too.
The second necklace I received was the Onyx beaded necklace. I love this even more then I thought I would. In addition to the black onyx pendant it has black and white beads along the nylon string. I really love this because Evan loves to chew on the nylon string. This way he is chewing on the smaller beads. The beads are made from the same safe material. I wore this one time when I saw a friend and she commented how pretty my necklace is. I told her it was Teething Bling and she could not believe it. She thought it was just a pretty beaded necklace.
The third one I received was the Jade square shaped pendant. I love the jade color of this one. The square makes it also stylish and unique. The pendant is 2 inches by 2 inches. This color goes with so many things that it is easy to accessorize when I am out with Evan. I will be honest I have even been tempted to wear one to work (And Evan is not with me there), I just think they are cute.
