Anyone like me who wants a Mustang, Jazzmaster or Jaguar on the cheap - rejoice! Fender are soon to release some new Squires that just about fit that bill! No news on the cost yet, but obviously - cheaper than a Mexican/Japanese/America one. 
As I'm sure you all know, Squire's quality has risen tremendously over the last few years and some of the Strats/Teles they make can match/surpass an equivalent Fender MiM. All I know is these guitars look REALLY nice and should sound and feel nice too.
