Mysterious Russian user tablet-guy from xda made the Archos Multimedia apps installable on other devices. According to him, the apps will install on a JellyBean(or higher) Android device which is not running the AVOS app yet. We thought it would be of interest to report about it.
Archos Music
Archos Music features:

The APK comes with MPEG-2 plugins included. Archos Video features:

A quick test showed that APKs seem to install and run pretty well.
