In partnership with the Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church, Spring Arbor University welcomes distinguished alumna and Christian recording artist Babbie Mason back to campus for a songwriter’s workshop and a concert, Oct. 26-29.
Mason will perform in concert on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 7:30 p.m. in the Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church (SAFMC) Sanctuary. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. General admission tickets are $10, and $4 for SAU students. All proceeds go toward SAU’s Babbie Mason Scholarship Fund.
On Saturday, Oct. 26, Mason will teach a songwriter’s workshop from 10:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. The session will take place in SAU’s choir room in the Smith Music Center. The workshop fee is $50 and $20 for SAU students.

Mason will also share as a chapel speaker on Monday, Oct. 28, at 10 a.m. in the Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church sanctuary.

Babbie Mason Scholarship Fund
Mason established the Babbie Mason Scholarship Fund at the University, which assists minority music students. All concert proceeds will be donated to the fund.
