Motown Comes To Miami!
In celebration of the return of Miami Soul Train, a Motown-inspired party will be going down at Canvas throughout the night.
While Soul Train riders are out, the party will be going down at Canvas with beats from Brooklyn’s hottest vinyl DJs and a live-stream of the Miami Soul Train riders and they party throughout the city. For those of us who want to observe the ride and still have a great time, enjoy late-night grub by Purple People Eatery, Motown-inspired Apothecary Airstream sips featuring delicious Beck’s Beer specials!
7:00PM – 8:00PM Sign-In.
8:15PM – 9:30PM Soul Train Ride.
7:00PM – 11:00PM Motown Getdown all night long (all niiiight).

Bay Skate Miami
Bay Skate is back in full effect!
Skaters are officially taking over Bayfront Park on Friday, September 25, 2015. It’s time to let your funk out and light up the magic city once again.
The FREE event created by brothers Alex & Marcos Macias, and their integrated creative content & brand development agency Macias Creative, will be in support of activating our public parks, giving back to our local community, and a desire to bring a one-of-a-kind roller skating and music experience for all to enjoy.

SKATE SESSIONS:
Session 1: 5pm-7pm (Family Skate)
Session 2: 7pm-12am (Adult Skate)
MUSIC: Old School Funk, Freestyle, Soul, and other mixed genre classics
FOOD/DRINK: Food Trucks, Drinks, and Alcoholic Beverages available for purchase.
SKATE RENTALS: Rentals and Shoe Valet Available (limited). Event still highly recommends bringing your own skates and protective gear if possible,to ensure a fun and safe skating experience.
IMPORTANT: All skaters and event participants will be required to fill out a Release/Waiver of Liability provided at the event and/or through other approved methods, in order to skate or participate in any of the activities. Participants will need to understand and agree that skating is dangerous activity, and that they assume all risks related to the event activities. All participants will agree to SKATE AT THEIR OWN RISK, and not hold liable to producers, organizers, or other related entities of the event. Anyone under the age of 18, will be required to have the consent of an adult.

Bring your dog to the beach anytime beginning at 5pm to meet and socialize with other dog owners or simply allow your dog to enjoy the beach ! Then head over to the World Famous Parrot Lounge at 911 Sunrise Lane for doggie happy hour ! The dog beach is at A1A and Sunrise Blvd and north.

Mondrian South Beach Celebrates National Yoga Month
The Bayside Hotel Hosts a Special Sunday Yoga Class with Ginger Harris
In honor of National Yoga Month Mondrian South Beach and local blogger
“The Electric Blogarella” Ginger Harris are hosting a special edition
of Mondrian’s weekly Sunday yogaprogram.
Guests and locals alike are invited to join Harris and Green
Monkey Yoga as they lead a complimentary group yoga class at
Mondrian’s iconic bayside pool deck. The event is intended to educate
guests on the health benefits of yoga and offer inspiration to
continue the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle. Participating guests will
be entered to win prizes from Green Monkey Yoga and luxury lifestyle
brand Peace Love World to keep them outfitted to continue to enjoy
their yogapractice throughout the year.
Following the hour-long group yoga class the pool-side restaurant will
be open serving a variety of healthy brunch options including Warm
Coconut Oatmeal with fresh mango, Yogurt Parfait, Assorted Fruit Bowls
and fresh pressed organic juices and smoothies. Breakfast items range
from $7 – $26.
The class is complimentary each week but space is limited. Guests are

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease, the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death.
Walk to End Alzheimer’s unites the entire community — more than 450,000 participants that include family, friends, co-workers, social and religious groups and more — in a display of combined strength and dedication in the fight against this devastating disease. While there is no fee to register, each participant is expected to fundraise in order to contribute to the cause and raise awareness. The Alzheimer’s Association provides free, easy-to-use tools and staff support to help each participant reach their fundraising goal.
