Boca Bacchanal 2015
Despite the pouring rain on Friday night, 1,500 guests joined the Boca Raton Historical Society and Museum (BRHS&M) for a Boca Bacchanal weekend unlike any before.
Bacchanalia, held Friday night (March 27), for the first time at the Boca Raton Airport Hangar, wowed guests from the moment they arrived on the red carpet with views of private jets, gorgeous Ferraris, the signature Boca Bacchanal car and a spectacle of live entertainment including an aerialist, juggler, a gorgeous red carpet gowned performer at the entry way. Once inside (and dry) guests experienced tastings from 40 South Florida restaurants, over 140 varieties of wine from top vintners across the world, chef demonstrations from three of Bacchanal’s notable chefs, a luxurious pop-up shop from Saks Fifth Avenue, and unique offerings from local businesses and sponsors for guests to enjoy.

History went high tech this year with a live social media stream (attendees who posted with the hashtag #BocaBacchanal could see their posts on the main event screen) and models in video vests streaming footage of the BRHS&M programs and preservation projects who walked the event taking donations for the new Welcome Center at Town Hall.
Celebrity Kathie Lee Gifford, representing GIFFT Wines, was a presentor at Bacchanalia and a Vintner Dinner in Boca Raton.

The sold out Vintner Dinners took place Saturday night (March 28) at seven luxurious homes in Boca Raton and South Palm Beach County. Taking a cue from the fun the night before, each home had unique entertainment and event décor. Boca Bacchanal’s visiting Chefs and Vintners presented unforgettable five course dinners with wine pairings in each home.
