Linde Material Handling is recruiting for its next intake of apprentice engineers – the starting point for an exciting career with the UKs leading forklift truck manufacturer.

Our apprenticeship programme follows the Fork Lift Truck Industry standards and provides you with the opportunity to work towards an internationally recognised qualification as a Forklift Truck Maintenance Engineer. The apprenticeship lasts for 4 years, the first 2 years leading to a vocational qualification at level 2 (Intermediate Apprenticeship) and the 3rd year providing a final vocational qualification at Level 3 in Forklift Truck Maintenance Repair. The final year focuses on specific training requirement depending on your final job placement. The off the job training will take place at FTEC’s Training Academy.

The Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Lift Truck Maintenance and Repair, includes:

Diploma in Lift Truck Vehicle Maintenance and Repair at Level 2

VCQ (Vocational Competence Qualification) at Level 2

ERR (Employment rights and responsibilities)

PLTS (Personal Learning and Thinking Skills)

Functional Skills in Maths, ICT & English if required

Product training and various Linde course.

On successful completion of these courses you will be put forward to undertake Level 3 Apprenticeship in Lift Truck Maintenance and Repair.

The Linde apprentice scheme teaches a broad range of skills and theory needed to service Linde’s large product range of forklift trucks and beyond. The scheme will provide you with a platform to build your career into other areas of the business like sales, health and safety, project management etc.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an open day at their local depot to gain more insight into the business.

Following this you will invited to a formal interview with successful candidates starting from July/August 2017.

Requirements

This role requires you to have a keen interest in engineering and an ability to learn new skills working well independently and as a team.

Applicants must have Maths and English GCSE grade A-C or equivalent

Weekly wage: £188.80
