Just in time for the holiday shopping season, Twelve South is back with a new accessory that would be perfect for any Apple fan with both an iPhone and Apple Watch. The HiRise Duet can charge both devices simultaneously.
Featuring Nightstand Mode
The best feature of the stand is its built-in Lightning and Apple Watch chargers. That means you won’t need to provide your own cables as the device is powered by a single AC cord
You’ll place the iPhone on top of the stand while the watch is placed on the base protected with a layer of soft leather. The HiRise Duet is also the first dual charging stand that can place an Apple Watch into Nightstand Mode.
When placed on its side to charge, the special display will illuminate when you press the Digital Crown, side button, or the screen. It will show the current time, date, and any alarms that you’ve set. When the alarm sounds, press the side button to turn it off or the Digital Crown to snooze.
As a nice touch, the stand can accommodate most iPhones protected with a case or sleeve. It can even be used to charge an iPad mini or smaller iPad Pro.
The all-metal HiRise Duet weighs a little less than a pound and shouldn’t slide around your desk or nightstand.
