Event Description:

High school and adult actors and singers are invited to join CFTC for a four week class on song and character study.  Each week will feature a master class setting where students will bring a song to workshop with the class.  Instructors will assist the student with delivering text as a song, with emphasis on combining of acting and singing skills in a well-rounded performance.  Students will break down their songs and will discuss good choices for developing their character. Students will work to reduce performance anxiety and prepare musical theatre audition material.

The class term will end with an open class during which families and friends are invited to see what the students have been learning in class.

Classes are held at Truro Anglican Church, 10520 Main Street, Fairfax, VA.
