About Mattie Miracle: When a child is diagnosed with cancer, the lives of an entire family are changed forever. Foreign medical jargon, treatment protocols, and fear and anxiety can ensue. Childhood cancer is as much a psychological disease as it is a physical one. Children and families need help managing the day-to-day isolation, pain, treatment challenges, and the consequences on their daily life.
