Kitchen Clash is back with another event. Again, we feature two amazing chefs, a fantastic secret location, and an incredible, unique experience. The event is being sponsored by Roomi! A portion of the proceeds from this event will go towards the non-profit, The Knowledge House.
Judgmental Much? Unleash your inner food critic! Each Kitchen Clash guest gets to ogle at, taste, & judge a number of delectable dishes at an exclusive NYC house party. Cheer as you watch chefs from renowned restaurants and television shows duke it out for your tastes and for a chance to win the coveted Winner's Apron. Go ahead and be judgmental - we're counting on you!
What You Get: Appetizers, prepared by a talented chef, hors d'oeuvres, open bar (beer, wine, liquor), a DJ, and - of course - the chance to eat the stunning dishes created by our chefs.
How It Works: Chefs are given a general theme, such as "ham and cheese", purchase their groceries with a set budget, and have an hour once the competition begins to create a dish. There is a catch - 5 minutes before they begin cooking, we reveal a secret ingredient!
Our Chefs
Chef Anup Joshi
Chef Anup was named among Zagat‘s “30 Under 30: NYC’s Hottest Up-and-Comers”. He has served as the chef de cuisine at Tertulia and currently runs a pop-up called Dosa Kitchen. He is Food Network "Chopped" champion.
Chef Jumoke Jackson
In Jackson’s short culinary career he has been featured on Neighborhood Chef, ABC’s The Chew and is a regular food expert on the national show Fox and Friend’s Morning Show. His accomplishments include “Crowd Favorite” at The Travel Channel’s Fiery Foods Challenge and winner of the DC local competition of “Top Chef”. He has also been a competitor on Food Network's "Beat Bobby Flay" and "Cutthroat Kitchen".
