Event Description:
Please join Paso High Theatre Company as they proudly present HAIRSPRAY - The Broadway Musical April 4 – 13, 2014 at the Paso Robles High School located at 801 Niblick Rd. Based on the 1988 John Waters film starring Ricki Lake, the musical takes place in 1962 Baltimore. Big-haired and boisterous Tracy Turnblad dreams of dancing on the hit television program, “The Corny Collins Show,” and falling in love with the dreamy Link Larkin. When Tracy wins a role on the show, she becomes an overnight celebrity, which allows her to launch a campaign to integrate the show. The original Broadway production of the musical won eight Tony Awards in 2003.
HAIRSPRAY can be seen April 4, 5, 11, and 12th at 7:30 PM and April 6 and 13th at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students/seniors and children 3-13 and are currently available at www.prhsdrama.com and at the door one hour before the show. All seats are general admission, so first come, first served and handicapped seating/assisted listening is available on request.
