Course Information
• The average time for a Survivor to complete the course is 35-45 minutes.
• The Walking Dead Escape is not a race. No one is timed, and you are not required to run, but the slow usually die for a reason. Be prepared to climb, crawl, and slide. The Evacuation Route will feature multiple obstacles to go over, under and around.
• Depending on the Walkers you encounter, Survivors may need to move briskly or lightly jog in an effort to avoid infection.
• If you cannot complete an obstacle, you can still complete the course. It's been specifically designed for participants with a wide range of abilities plus each obstacle includes an “easier route” for participants with limited physical abilities.
• There are water stations on the course.

General Participant Rules
• Along with their print at home tickets, Survivors and Walkers should bring photo ID to the event.
• If a participant under age 16 doesn’t have a photo ID, their parent or guardian’s photo ID will be accepted.
• Participants must be at least 14 years of age on the date of the event - no exceptions.
• All participants are expected to be respectful, safe, and courteous on and off the course. The course was designed to create a fun experience; common sense applies.
• Absolutely no weapons allowed (real or otherwise).
• Costumes are allowed (and encouraged).
• Sensible footwear applies - closed-toed shoes/sneakers strongly suggested.
• No handheld devices (cameras, video cameras, water bottles, etc.) are allowed on the course with the exception of wearable cameras i.e. Go-pros.
• All decisions by officials are final and binding.
• Any Participant who does not comply with these official rules will be banned.

Survivor Rules
• Survivors must arrive 30 minutes prior to your registered start time.
• As a Survivor, your goal is to make it to the Evacuation Zone without any contact with Walkers (since the Government believes the infection is spread by touch).
• If you come in contact with a Walker during the course, you will still be able to complete the course in its entirety. You may not “fight back” (after all, there is no point - you’re doomed anyway).
• At the end of the course, Government scientists will be waiting to perform a confidential scan to determine whether or not the virus has infected you.

Walker Rules
• Walkers must arrive 2 hours prior to your registered start time for registration, makeup and training. No exceptions for late arrivals.

• As a Walker, your goal is to haunt your assigned area of the course as brainlessly and brutally as possible.
• You will receive professional makeup and training prior to your shift.
• You will receive further instruction on what to wear, etc. via email from The Walking Dead Escape officials within a week of the event. (Don’t share this info with any of your Survivor friends to keep them in the dark as they try to complete the course.)
• Walkers may keep their makeup on after finishing their shift.

Waivers
• Everyone must sign a waiver before participating in The Walking Dead Escape. No exceptions.

• You may print out a waiver and bring it with you to the event or they will be available on site during registration.
• All Walkers and Survivors under the age of 18 require a parent or guardian present to complete a waiver. If parent or guardian is not present, participant may bring a signed, notarized waiver from their parent or guardian.

Registration and Refund Policies
• Registrations and spectator tickets should be purchased in advance. Walk-up purchases may be available but are not guaranteed.

• All registration and ticket purchases are final with no refunds.
