The third international edition of How to Web, conference on tech innovation and entrepreneurship, takes place next week, on November 7th and 8th in Bucharest, Romania.
How to Web 2012 brings in front of its participants over 40 internationally renowned speakers. They will address topics like developing web products and businesses, technology innovations and their impact on the users and creators, global web trends and their impact on the local markets, as well as specific problems and opportunities regarding the development of global products from Eastern Europe.
Between the most important speakers of this year’s edition we find names like Phil Libin – CEO of Evernote, one of the most important mobile companies in the world, Leonard Brody – president of Clarity Digital, renowned entrepreneur nominated two times for the Emmys and Max Niederhofer – Partner at Accel Partners, one of the most important VC funds in the world.
While the main conference stage – Grow stage – will be debating specific topics relating to companies developing web products, the second stage is destined to presentations and debates dedicated to startups. Ignite Stage will host pitches from some of the best startups in Central and Eastern Europe, presentations of 12 world class accelerators, as well as panels on financing at angel and VC level.
The finalist startups come from 7 countries in the region, also having the opportunity to win cash prizes of a total value of 20.000 USD, prizes offered by IXIA, main partner of the event.
This year’s How to Web edition will be live-streamed, through the platform and infrastructure offered by Hostway and Vodafone Romania, event partners. The live streaming will be available on the conference website.
