HP kondigde tijdens HP Discover 2015 nieuwe updates binnen het Helion portfolio aan. De updates vergemakkelijken de transitie naar een hybride infrastructuur. HP introduceerde HP Helion CloudSystem 9.0, de nieuwste release van het vlaggenschip in geïntegreerde cloudoplossingen van HP. Daarnaast verbetert HP de HP Helion Managed Cloud Services om enterprise workloads te beheren in een veilig gehoste cloudomgeving. Bedrijven geven momenteel het grootste deel van het IT budget, soms wel 90 procent, uit aan het onderhouden van bestaande systemen. Volgens HP kunnen bedrijven deze kosten met gemiddeld 40% verlagen door bestaande systemen te migreren naar een op cloud gebaseerde architectuur.
