Hyderabad : Shriram Life Insurance Co. Ltd (SLIC), joint venture with Sanlam Life Insurance, South Africa, a part of 
Rs 60,000 Crore Shriram Group, today announced the inauguration of their new head office at Hyderabad. The new office is located at Plot # 31 & 32, Ramky Selenium, Financial District, Nanakramguda, Gachibowli, Hyderabad 500 032.
This was inaugurated by Shri. T S Vijayan, Chairman, Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) in the presence of Shri. R. Thyagarajan, Founder Chairman, Shriram Group, Ms. Akhila Srinivasan, Managing Director, SLIC and Manoj Jain, CEO and Director, SLIC.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Manoj Jain, CEO and Director, said “The new head office at the Financial District will provide SLIC an access to large, experienced pool of insurance expertise. We are confident that this office reinforces our growth story and our commitment to Hyderabad as an emerging destination for financial inclusion”.
He also remarked, “The new office shall reinforce our standing and help us better serve our customers and engage new verticals”.
Commenting on the inauguration, Ms. Akhila Srinivasan, Managing Director, SLIC said, “We are proud to be a part of the Shriram Group, one of the largest conglomerates in South India. SLIC is the only private life Insurer based out of Hyderabad with a commendable growth rate in a short stint.
A special edition of the Customer Newsletter is unveiled by T. S. Vijayan and R. Thyagarajan during the event. The newsletter focuses on customer education and grievance redressal mechanism (IGMS). It also highlighted Sanlam’s success as the best customer service provider in South Africa.
She added, “Our new head office would signal the importance of our commitment. We are ensuring that our people at SLIC cultivate relationships and strive to out-grow ourselves now and in the future.

SLIC is the only private insurer to have made a profit in the first year and 7 out of 8 Years of operation. We have always surpassed industry benchmarks constantly.
