Day 1: Arrive in Vienna | Day at Leisure

As soon as you arrive at the airport, a Yatra representative will arrange your transfer to the designated hotel. Austria – a landlocked country – lies in Central Europe. Its rich history, scenic sights and vibrant culture attract tourists from all across the globe. Vienna State Opera, Melk Abbey and Hohensalzburg Castle are some of the popular attractions of this place. The continental climate with less rains make it a pleasant place to explore at any time of the year. On reaching the hotel, complete the check-in formalities and relax. Thereafter, either you can explore this beautiful city or spend the day at leisure at the hotel. Later, return to the hotel and stay overnight.

DAY 2: Vienna City Tour and Schonbrunn Palace

In the morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast and get set for a Vienna city tour. Vienna – the largest and capital city of Austria – is also the economical and political centre of the country. In addition, it is also the 7th largest city in the European Union as far as population is concerned, and has been mentioned in the list of the UNESCO most liveable cities, several times. This tour includes popular sites of the Austrian capital. You will see a number of architecture sites and historical monuments during the drive around the Ringstrasse. During the tour, witness Vienna State Opera, which is known for its Neo-Renaissance style of architecture. Then, proceed towards the Museum of Fine Arts, which houses a huge collection of art and craft work that showcase the European history. Afterwards, get a glimpse of the Museum of Natural History, which was founded by Christian Koeberl around 250 years ago. This museum is often called the NHMW and contains millions of specimens and artefacts. During the tour, you can also see The Parliament Building, which is almost 150 years old and is stretched in an area of around 13500 square kilometres. The tour also includes a glimpse of the Burg theatre (National Theatre). Afterwards, you can admire the perfect example of the neo-Gothic style of architecture – The City Hall. It was designed back in 1872 by Friedrich von Schmidt, and is also known as Rathaus. Later, you can also see The Vienna University, which is almost 650 years old. DAY 3: Vienna to Salzburg

After finishing breakfast, check-out from the hotel. Transfer to the railway station to board the train for Salzburg. This city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997 and is the fourth largest city of the country. It is famous for its architectural works, such as Hohensalzburg Fortress, Salzburg Museum and DomQuartier. As soon as you reach Salzburg, transfer to the hotel and complete the check-in formalities. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in the hotel.

DAY 4: Original Sound of Music Tour

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, proceed for the round trip tour of Salzburg in a luxurious coach. DAY 5: Salzburg to Innsbruck

After breakfast, complete the check-out formalities. Get ready for the transfer to Innsbruck by train. It takes around 2 hours to reach Innsbruck from Salzburg. Located in the Western Austria, Innsbruck is the capital city of Tyrol. The place is popular among sports lovers for winter sports. It hosted the Winter Olympics organised in the year 1964 and 1976. Its picturesque sights and natural beauty attract tourists from all across the globe. After arrival at the station, transfer to the hotel. Complete check-in formalities on reaching the hotel and stay overnight.

DAY 6: Innsbruck City Tour

After breakfast, get set for the city tour by using 24-hour card. It will be an opportunity for you to attend the main events of Innsbruck as it includes selected places, which are major attractions. You will get an opportunity to explore the history, art and culture of the city, with visits to such as the Old Town and Golden Roof. The former one is a soul of Graz and comes under the World Heritage list of UNESCO. The latter one is one of the primary symbols of the city; it was built by Archduke Friedrich IV in the 15th century.

Thereafter, you will visit St. Jacob’s Cathedral – a Roman Catholic Diocese –that was built in 1536. It is one of the fine examples of the Renaissance style of architecture. Later, visit the Hofburg Palace, which is the official residence and the workplace of President of Austria. After exploring the Hofburg Palace, visit the Hofkirche, which is a Gothic church, established back in 1553 built by Ferdinand I. It is also known as court church featuring the tomb of Emperor Maximilian.

Later,explore the world of Crystal at the world famous Swarovski Crystal World in Wattens. Here you can see beautiful items made of various exclusive crystals. As the day ends, return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 7: Depart from Innsbruck

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to the airport to board the flight back to India.
