Recently, I've taken a very strong interest in video game music. This interest has now turned into an obsession, and now I am single minded in my pursuit of creating a massive compilation of the best music gaming has given to the world. Do to do this, I have created a youtube account (2 actually, but I decided to abandon to the other), made several categorical playlist, went around the internet picking out over 500 titles to look over for this list, and most importantly, listened to tons of VGM for the better part of my recent time living. To carry out this process, I have experimented with a variety of techniques, but, now, I've finally decided to simply alphabetize my list of titles and go through the playlist one by one for the next year or so.

Mods, I understand we have a VGM thread already, but that's in the music sub forum (which is pretty much dead), and I want a place that's active to talk about my project (even if no one ever post here). That said, the video game music sub forum is the most active sub forum relevant to this topic, and I felt it was most fitting to put it here. Move it if you want, but I'd rather keep it here.
With all that said, I hope I can create the most comprehensive VGM playlist in the history of ever, and also, I hope those visiting my channel will like it to.
By the way, the numbers next to games refer to number of tracks in the game in question I considered quality on the master list. I like to think its a vague measure of overall sound quality.
In terms of using this thread as a place to discuss my progress, I will probably post a general opinion about a particular series or games soundtrack quality from time to time (i.e. once I finish listening to all or most of the Ace Attorney games, which I'm going through now, I will probably describe my opinion of the series' music as a whole).
