Pro-trader of London are pleased to announce the release to the public of their own in house fully automated professional Forex trading strategy FX21. This is a true algorithmic formula based strategy that can be left to trade entirely unattended around the clock. It trades primarily Euro /USD and AUD/USD but could also be applied to other Forex pairs and has been successfully used for the last several years by our in house traders to trade the emini futures markets.
It is essentially a day trading system trading 30 minute price bars. FX21 typically holds its positions for no more than a day and its average holding period is around seven hours. Maximum drawdown over the last 10 years has been very low as the system incorporates a tight initial stop loss combined with a trailing stop that moves up rapidly behind the open trade to limit the size of any individual trade loss. This technique plus the incorporations of a unique dynamic profit target produces a very smooth cumulative profits equity curve with consistent monthly profits and no unexpected surprises or big individual or combined trade losses.
The system is an adaptation of our own in-house E-mini trading systems that we have been using successfully in house real-time for over five years. It is ideally suited for traders who have some prior experience but do not have the time or inclination to sit watching the screens for hours on end.
FX21 looks for and then trades a specific set up based on a particular combinations of volatility, momentum and price action which can be demonstrated to lead to further price continuation in the direction of the initial move. If that combination is present the system will enter the market and hold for maximum of 24 hours. If the setup is not present then FX21 will stand on the sidelines waiting for the next good trade opportunity. It typically trades around 100 times per year which allows plenty of opportunity for aggressive compounding of positions should the trader wish.
