Juniper Networks has released the new Junos Pulse AppConnect software development kit (SDK( that enables a per-application virtual private network (VPN) connectivity from both Apple’s iOS and Google Android devices to Junipers already popular Pulse Secure Access Service.
Junos Pulse AppConnect’s technology provides per-application SSL VPN connection on the most popular tablet and smartphone devices. With the new AppConnect, enterprises will be have to have more control over the access to corporate networks and their applications, preserving the security and integrity of their data, networks and resources.
Data privacy afforded by the technology in AppConnect will also be able to extend data in transit back to the main network, transparently, hopefully to keep out spammers and hackers from getting into private and secure information. The technology will also allow VPN sessions to be established per application, rather than the commonly used technology of per device. This will reduce personal traffic on corporate networks and keep information that really matters to the organization secret and easy to find.
