India’s media & entertainment industry is bracing itself for exciting times ahead as the sector is projected to grow at a CAGR of 14percent to reach US$ 28.1 billion by 2015. The relevance of hands-on experience has taken over the era of bookish knowledge, so students who will shape the future need to look at specialised courses, training to be able to become thought leaders of tomorrow. Currently, India churns out only 1000 design graduates; hence there are only two designers for one million citizens.

Deepak Choudhary, Director & CEO, Event Capital says “We are excited to bring back season II post the success of season I, where we saw around 3500 +students benefitting and choosing a career of their choice. The idea behind ‘The Edutainment Show 2014’ is to showcase the changing paradigms of in the field of media, design and communication to enhance the knowledge of the students. The thought is to bring awareness about availability of specialised curriculum to students wanting to foray into unconventional professions.”
