Computer Society of India (CSI), Mumbai Chapter along with UBM India is hosting IT2020, its flagship event at Victor Menzees Convention Centre, IIT Bombay at Powai, today and tomorrow, the 28th February 2014. The theme of the event is ”Technology ….Now Delivering Value”. Keeping with evolving trends in technology, the conference will have six tracks -Harvesting Big Data, IT for Business Excellence, Governance, Risk and Compliance, Leveraging Mobile Computing, Cloud Computing and Education.

The conference offers several advantages to all IT stakeholders. Corporates can hope to leverage cutting edge IT industry trends and gain industry specific expertise, apart from having opportunity to develop professional network. Students can advance learning from spoken tutorials. Students will also get participation certificates that will help them in their careers.

The first day of the conference has three tracks – Harvesting Big Data, Governance, Risk and Compliance and IT for Business Excellence. The second day of the conference will host the remaining three tracks – Leveraging Mobile Computing, Cloud Computing and Education and will have sessions on Mobile App Development: Avoiding the Pitfalls, Mobile Collaboration Will Drive Innovation in your workplace.

Each track will close with a panel discussion. The registration will being at 8:30 am tomorrow and the programme will commence from 10 am.

The conference boasts of a galaxy of industry and academia stalwarts addressing various tracks. Rajesh Aggarwal, IAS Secretary, Government of Maharashtra is the keynote speaker. Other notable speakers include Dr. Deepak Phatak, (Recipient of Padma Shri) IIT Bombay, Prashun Datta, CIO,Tata Power, Dr Hirve CGM, IT Dept, RBI and many others. Industry leaders from various segments are expected to speak at various tracks and the conference promises to not only be an excellent networking opportunity but also one that promises to educate, even the seasoned IT professional.
