Hi friends! We’re continuing on with our Trim Your Tree series today with these Personalized Scrabble Ornaments by Kelly from Eclectic Momsense. Kelly is a wonderful and talented mother – a wealth of information! Be sure to stop by her blog and take it all in!

Hey everyone I’m Kelly from Eclectic Momsense. The holidays are just around the corner so it’s no surprise our home is in full on craft mode. We’ve been creating all kinds of handmade Christmas gifts and ornaments. I’m so excited Kimberly has invited me to share these simple Scrabble ornaments.

One of my favorite Christmas ornaments are from found objects you can upcycle. This is the perfect way to breath new life into an old game with missing letters. All you need is a little hot glue, ribbon, Popsicle sticks and the scrabble tiles to spell out your message.

Start by laying out your letters. Carefully flip them over so they are lined up with the blank side facing up. This is the part where you might want to peek to make sure they are still in the correct order, speaking from experience. Place a thin bead of hot glue across the tiles. Take your Popsicle stick you’ve cut to size and press down into the hot glue. Allow to dry before cutting a ribbon to size and gluing to the back of your ornament. Add a bow for embellishment.

Hang them on your tree or pass then out as gifts. What teacher wouldn’t love this handmade treasure for Christmas.

Thanks for letting me share! I hope you’ll stop on over to checkout the other crafting I’m up to this holiday season!
